The Village Inn has been found in the heart of West Runton, dating back to around the 1800's. Run by the landlord Lee Merritt, His wife Harriet and their two daughters. They are proud to serve honest home-cooked food and well-kept local ales in this beautiful coastal setting. Dog- and family-friendly, whether you are stopping for a pint after the beach or having a meal, you will always receive a proper warm welcome.
The only south facing beer garden for miles along the coast
Our beer garden is the reason people come back. Enclosed by flint walls and facing south, it catches the sun all afternoon and seats up to 200 - dogs welcome, kids welcome, no booking required. On a warm day, it's the best seat in West Runton.

There’s a strong nod to the Norfolk coast too, with seafood dishes on both the main and specials board. Add tempting puddings, and it’s an inviting spot for a relaxed lunch or satisfying evening meal after a day on the North Norfolk coast.
